Rules question

One of the rules states:

You may not participate in the Challenge if you:

(1) are an employee of the Library of Congress, the Congress, or another U.S. federal entity; or share a household with, or are the spouse, or child of such an employee;

Can I not participate if one of my parents works for the social security administration? She has no knowledge of this challenge nor does she have any information that should give me an edge over other participants.

    It's really unfortunate. I created a great solution but I'll make sure to read the fine print next time.
